Subject: Post-Primary Update, New Ad, and Yard Sign News

Hi all,

I hope everyone is getting a chance to catch their breath after a busy primary season! I wanted to be sure to send along our thanks for all the work folks did to make sure Democrats made a strong showing in the primary. We are excited to continue to partner with you as we head toward November!

Some campaign news—this morning, Senator Murray released a new ad titled “Rewrite History,” which focuses on the January 6th attack on the U.S. Capitol and the continued threats MAGA Republicans pose to our democracy. You can watch it here, and we’d love for you to amplify it as you’re able (tweet from our team here, Facebook post here, and Instagram post here).

This ad is just the latest in what’s already been a super busy month—after some great events out on the campaign trail, Senator Murray was in DC helping pass the Inflation Reduction Act. The bill takes major steps forward on issues Senator Murray hears about from voters all the time: helping families save on health care coverage, lowering prescription drug costs, and making a historic investment in climate action and clean energy.  

As we advance out of the primary, we’re focused on talking to voters about what’s at stake in this election–from making sure our economy works for Washington’s working families, to abortion rights and the future of our democracy—because as you all know we need to keep the Senate blue in November, elect Democrats up and down the ticket, and build on this progress.

And speaking of kicking off the general election season, we are excited to share that Patty Murray yard signs have arrived! Our team has distributed signs to WA Dems Coordinated Campaign offices across the state as well as to some LPO offices and depots.
