The August meeting will include a discussion of local and regional human rights problems and abuses with Chuck Tanner of the Institute for Research and Education on Human Rights, www.irehr.org.  Given the disgraceful and reprehensible comments made by the current occupant of the White House, this topic couldn’t be timelier. Please check the web site www.irehr.org for articles that cover actions that have occurred in our country including incidents at OC. I think this will really resonate with folks given the horrible events of the last couple days.

As usual there are reports and possibly candidates to approve or endorse. We might even have snacks?
