Join us for the April 27 meeting of the 23rd LD Democrats Central Committee. 

Local Democrats to Increase Lines of Communication with Marginalized Communities

     On Thursday, April 27^th the 23^rd Legislative District Democrats will host a panel discussion to discover the legislative needs of marginalized groups in Kitsap County.  Actions against hate crimes and other desired rules and enforcement of those rules will be part of the conversation, as will ways to increase political, social, educational and welfare equality.   President of the Bremerton NAACP Robert Harris and representatives from the Suquamish Tribe, the LGBTQ community, the Latino community are our expected panelists.  There may be others who are not yet confirmed.

The discussion will be held at 7 PM in Hern Hall at Olympic College’s Poulsbo Campus.  It will be moderated by Shannon Turner, Vice Chair of the Kitsap County 23^rd Legislative District Democrats.  It is a free event to which the public is cordially Invited and will be given the opportunity to present questions to the panel.  The results of the discussion will be presented to our local legislators by representatives of the 23^rd Legislative District Democrats.  For questions, call Judi Leader at
